A movement, dance, fitness and creative arts space in Bengaluru — two centres, a deliberately varied schedule, and a room that never asks you to be anyone else.
These are the practices we teach in-house — the forms Dhurii is built around. Timings, availability and fees are always live on our booking page.

Dhurii is an Art Center built around movement, creativity, self-expression, learning and the wellbeing of mind, body and spirit — a warm, inclusive space where people of different ages, backgrounds and experience levels can explore, learn and grow.
Our journey is rooted in recognising and nurturing artistic talent. Across two centres in Indiranagar and Domlur, the studios host regular classes, workshops, intensives, special programmes, certification-oriented learning, personalised sessions and creative experiences through the year. The schedule is deliberately varied — so you can try different disciplines, learn from skilled teachers and visiting faculty, and keep discovering new forms of movement and expression.
Dhurii was co-founded by Aastha Gulati and Poonam Gulati. Aastha is its Creative Director, as well as a teacher and movement practitioner. Her work brings together dance, fitness, body awareness and wellness, with a movement background spanning Contemporary, Kathak, Ballet, Jazz, Latin and Belly Dance, supported by experience in yoga, fitness and other mind-body practices. At Dhurii she teaches, mentors and works with students on technique, expression, strength and body awareness.
She came to it sideways — leaving a corporate career in actuarial consulting to build a practice around movement instead. That background shows in how Dhurii is run: structured, thought-through, and built to last.

Co-founded Dhurii alongside Aastha and teaches Pilates across both centres. She holds that a positive attitude should be a constant in life — and that age should never limit what someone chooses to take up.

A self-taught dancer who trained across folk forms, salsa, hip hop and breaking before specialising in contemporary.
Creates inclusive spaces that welcome all bodies, teaching with an emphasis on authenticity and shared growth.
The reliable presence behind both centres — Kala keeps the studios running day to day, and is usually the first person to greet you.
Dhurii also works regularly with external and visiting faculty. See Coming Up or Instagram for who’s currently teaching or hosting with us.
Alongside regular classes we run intensives, pedagogy courses and deep-dives for dancers ready to study a form properly — not just attend it.
Tribal Fusion Belly Dance · Format Pedagogy Program
Structure your teaching. Elevate your dance. Lead with confidence.
There comes a point in a dancer’s journey where learning more choreography isn’t what’s needed any more. What’s needed is depth — of understanding, of technique, of awareness. This is a focused, immersive journey for dancers who want to master the Lock & Flow format and teach it with depth, clarity and impact.
Across 50 hours of intensive training we unpack the complete Beginner and Elementary Level 1 syllabus — not just what we do, but why. Movement mechanics, alignment, conditioning, drills, progressions, common corrections, teaching methodology, cueing and observation skills.

You don't have to join a Dhurii class to use Dhurii. Teachers, artists, instructors, coaches, facilitators and creators can use our studios as a platform for their own classes, workshops, rehearsals, courses, intensives, events and community sessions — subject to studio suitability and availability.
And it isn't restricted to dance. The spaces can support fitness, yoga and wellness, theatre and acting, music practice, writing, arts and crafts, creative learning, talks, training sessions and other small-group formats. If you have a skill, a practice or a creative idea, we'd like to help you build an audience for it.

Two centres in Bengaluru, with four studios between them. Open every day, 8:00 AM to 9:30 PM — your class listing will say which one you’re headed to.
A sense of the movement, community and energy of the studios — rather than a conventional photo gallery.

Both centres have their own Google profile with reviews from students, visiting teachers and people who’ve hired the studios.
Yes — and most people arrive that way. Our beginner intensives in belly dance and contemporary are built for people starting from zero, and our open-level classes are designed so you can join without prior training. If you're unsure which to pick, message us on WhatsApp and we'll point you to the right batch.
Everything runs through our booking page, where you can see live timings and seats, then pay online. Some intensives let you hold an early-bird slot with a deposit and settle the balance on your first day — that's noted on the individual listing.
We run two centres — Domlur and Indiranagar — and each class listing names its venue, so check there when you book. Both are open every day from 8:00 AM to 9:30 PM. Full addresses and map links are in the Visit section above.
Comfortable clothes you can move fully in, and a bottle of water. Most of our dance classes are done barefoot or in socks; for conditioning sessions bring trainers. If a class needs anything specific, it'll say so on the listing.
